Alison Krauss

The beginning of the international fame was experienced by bluegrass singer Alison Krauss in 1990 when she was 19, she walked away from her first Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. Krauss's third studio album I've Got That Old Feeling was awarded the prize despite the fact she was only 19 years older. Too Late To Cry is her first album. The album was released in Champaign Illinois at the age of 16. In the year 14 she signed to sign a contract with Rounder Records - one of the world's most respected folk-based labels. Krauss's achievements at such a young age, and as well as her skill, were consistently recognized by the fact that she's maintained her devotion to bluegrass, one of America's oldest and least well-known musical genres. Krauss, who was once the hottest teenager in America, had matured into a musician and producer. Alison Alison Alison
