Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, host of CNN's "New Day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected. Camerota's three decades of journalism have included many stories in the United States and internationally. She has been awarded several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. The board also has' transitions Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford was named an honorary trustee following her service on the board since 2007 and Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport has been elected chair of the board after serving as a board member since 2013. Czekaj-Farber replaces Barbara Streicker of Westport, who was chairperson since October 15, 2015, and continues serving on the board since 2006. There 26 trustees are on the board at The Playhouse.
