Aura Garcia Sanchez plays an actress on Spanish film and on television. She appeared in films such as Stockholm and in the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer as well as orchestra conductor. the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, is a painter. When she took her first piano lesson at age four when she was four, she began learning ballet. It was her best friend who spoke English which taught her to speak the English language. After completing the requirements for high school, she enrolled in her first college, the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico (Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico) in Madrid. She took classes in interpretation up until the third year. She specialized in interpreting texts. Her nomination for a Goya award in the category of best emerging actress, and won the Silver Biznaga award for her role.
