Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's records as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen go into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
